Notes:

This low-profile Bordeaux varietal makes a powerful and intriguing wine when grown in Washington. From a family-farmed vineyard in the Columbia Valley's Wahluke Slope, the ANIMALE Petite Verdot has a deep red-black color; very complex and exotic aromas of cherries and plum, with hints of roasted peppers, kumquat and ginger; it is a full-bodied wine with zesty acidity and a long, powerful finish.
