  • Wine Enthusiast (Sean Sullivan), February 2018 - Recommended Wine, Rating: 88 Points
  • "High-toned aromas of herb, cigar box and spice are followed by tart cranberry and cherry flavors backed by lightly gritty tannins. The bright acidity keeps the interest high. Put it on the dinner table to see it at its best."

  • Wines Northwest (Chuck Hill), January 10, 2018 - A Featured Wine of the Week
  • "Animale 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Yakima Valley AVA - Talented winemaker Matt Gubitosa crafted his 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon from grapes grown at Lublin Vineyard on the western Yakima Valley. Matt's wines are rich and full-bodied - many say intense - and show the varietal character and ripe fruit he prefers. Look for ripe aromas and flavors of black cherry, plum and cassis with notes of earthy mineral and graphite. Finishing hints of cherry and vibrant acidity make this a great food wine."
